The Nursery
Nine months pregnant in the nursery
Here is our nursery! We had to transform our office/random room of things (oh, where to put the closet full of baseball cards, etc). I like how the wall color is bright but gender neutral so that we won't have to repaint if there's ever a little man in our future. Of course, we wanted the rest of it to be cute and girly. Huge thanks to Wendy for saving her furniture for us, and another big thanks to David for helping install the chair rail!
Here's the crib-view. The letters were a fun project for me to paint. I'm thinking about selling them, so let me hear from ya if anyone needs some custom letters! Unfortunately, that poor plant soon died. Don't be scared, Harper! We'll take better care of you!
The rest of it. I guess our theme would be butterflies. Now we just need a baby!
Right now, we're less than two weeks away from the due date (the 14th). We have another sonogram on Tuesday which will tell us a lot. At our last sonogram two weeks ago, the doctor estimated that she was 8 pounds already. I weighed 9.5 and Brent was 10, so we may be in store for a big'un. There's a possibility we might be induced this coming Thursday (one week early), and we have a spot reserved at the hospital just in case, but we will make that decision with the doctor after Tuesday's appt. We're just praying that everyone's healthy and that we have a safe delivery.
Brent wanted to take some late-pregnancy pics of me, so here I am! I think I'm pretty much maxed out!
Until next time...most likely post delivery!
