Harper's 2nd Birthday Party
For Harper's 2nd birthday, we had a little celebration at the park with family and a few friends. Although it has been one crazy hot summer, nobody suffered heat stroke, so I think the party was successful! :) And we had a lot of fun too. Harper loves the splash park, so this was a good place for her to enjoy her special day.
Mimi walked with Harper from the pavilion to the splash park.
Harper had lots of fun! When the water would temporarily shut down, Harper would sweetly plead, "More water, please!"
Kate and Aubrey were tearing it up as well...
...as was Lydia...
...and Addy too!
It was great to have some of our friends there to celebrate with Harper. Here is Tami and Carly!
Harper's party was all pink and orange. Harper and Nana spent a lot of time blowing on these pinwheels we had as decorations.
Harper and Grandad
We had pizza for lunch, but there was lots of playing with sidewalk chalk both before and after.
Aunt Beth talking to sweet Ryleigh and holding Holton, who is now seven months old!
These cousins love each other! It is so fun to watch their relationship growing as they develop. They are usually shouting out silly things together and laughing.
The pink and orange strawberry cupcakes
It was a little too windy to get the candle lit, but Harper liked holding the candle and loved her cupcake!
Harper has loved all her presents! Here she is opening her new baby doll from Nana.
Can't have enough boas
Harper enjoyed pushing Addy around in her new baby stroller.
Harper also received a little potty seat for when we decide it's time to start potty training this year. It made me laugh how she was all down on the ground studying the picture as if she were reading a how-to manual.
Little Holton was a trooper but finally had to sack out. It was time for everyone to go home.
Now hopefully we can get on with some fall weather!
