At the end of April, Brent took Harper on a Daddy/Daughter camping trip with Rod, Zack and their girls. Harper was so excited! Harper is very into girly things right now--sparkles, dress up, all things pink, etc. But she also loves to be outside and get down and dirty with the rocks and sticks. I admire Rod, Zack and Brent for initiating this special time with their girls and taking the time to pack and prepare for it.
I also enjoyed having an extended time of giving Owen my undivided attention. It was wonderful to take a long morning walk together, just the two of us, among other things.

| Ryleigh got to coughing in the night and needed a breathing treatment, so Rod and the girls had to cut out and go home to take care of that. That is a benefit of not camping too far from home! That is why Ryleigh and Aubrey aren't in the following pictures. |

| On the way home, Brent and Harper stopped off to hang out at the Denton Arts and Jazz Festival together. They listened to music and shared a jumbo corny dog. What a fun weekend! |
Here is a video Brent created to capture some of the camping moments! I love Brent's talent for editing video together. I thought he did a great job with this one, and it made me tear up. Just wish I could freeze time sometimes!
