The Last Few Weeks...
Since coming back from our trip, it has been nice to settle back into home, get reacquainted with friends and spend lots of time with family. My only brother, Ricky, was here visiting from South Korea for a month, so we spent as much time with him as we could. He was here visiting last year at this time when Harper was born, and it was so special to have him here again as Harper turned one. He and Harper became fast friends!
As much as we could with the heat, we took a couple of family hikes. Here Harper is riding along on Nana's back.
The Fam
Nana indulged Harper's passion for books!
Harper really enjoys water, and I think we might have a little fish on our hands next summer.
We went swimming at our neighborhood pool with Jenevieve, Adelyn and Brian.
Here is Harper on a playdate with Aubrey, Carly and Kate (Ryleigh was napping). She looks a little unsure about Kate's sweet affection. :)
Very random, but Harper's favorite spot in the house right now is our entryway. She will play with the rug and crawl back and forth...I guess she is ready to greet visitors at any moment!
A favorite summertime fruit!
Hard at work brushing her teeth
I set out to Babe's to do a mini photo shoot of Harper at 12 months. I can't believe our little girl is now a year old. This seems like a long year and a fast one all at the same time. At this age Harper loves to read books, initiate games of peek-a-boo, make friends with strangers in stores and is always on the move...still not walking, but a very speedy crawler! We love our baby so much and look forward to the changes and fun next year will bring with a toddler!
The sticker was just NOT going to stay on her chest! :) This was the best I could do to finish out her month-by-month sticker photos.
On her actual birthday, I baked Harper a birthday blueberry muffin and Brent and I got her up in the morning by singing Happy Birthday to her.
Soon to come...Harper's birthday party!
