As is my custom, this is an event from six weeks ago. :) In April we spent a weekend at Possum Kingdom Lake with Brent's family. The lake house is a new acquisition in Jarod's family, and Beth and Jarod were so sweet to host us all out there. We had a wonderful time!

Harper and Addy were so excited to see each other, and there were screams and giggles for quite some time before they finally settled down a bit.

| We tried an experiment to see if the girls could have their first "sleep over" on some mattresses we pulled to the ground. They were tucked in repeatedly, but about every five minutes, one or the other would open the door and pop her head out. We finally gave up and said they weren't quite ready and set up the pack and plays in separate rooms. But it sure was precious to see the two cousins lying side-by-side, however short lived it was. |

| Jarod was all time boat driver. We went out several times over the course of the weekend. The first time we went out, Harper did not like how much the wind was blowing her hair and face and wanted to be in my lap. |

After inner tubing, Brent, Brian and Jenevieve also took turns flying off the rope swing. A bunch of dare devils! I was happy to use pregnancy as an excuse to stay grounded on the dock.
