A Night Out with Daddy
Something really special that our church does every year is coordinate an event in February called the Princess Ball, which is a Daddy/Daughter dance. Harper went last year as well, and had a wonderful time with Brent running around and eating ice cream, but this year she could participate on so many more levels and was looking forward to it for days!
Beforehand, some families from church met up and took some pictures...this pair warms my heart!

Before getting in the car to head to the ball, Harper was punching her fist in the air and shouting, "Yea dance!" She was excited. :)
The theme was a tea party / Alice in Wonderland theme. In addition to Harper and Brent getting their photo made, there were a lot of fun, whimsical photo props like hats and masks that the girls could play around with and get pictures made. Harper chose this awesome cat mask and didn't want to take it off Brent said.

Harper also enjoyed coloring the little Princess Ball paper.
But after all that, there was still plenty of time for dancing, which really involved a lot of jumping for Harper. They came home happy and still full of energy after 9:00, and I enjoyed a quiet little few hours at home. I look forward to the tradition of these sweet evenings continuing for this pair.
