Happy Easter! I feel on top of things that I am actually posting these pictures the week following Easter...very unlike my usual! We had a great holiday...an Easter party at Harper's preschool, an Easter egg hunt/carnival at our church, and a Sunday spent going to church and enjoying the afternoon with family. We are thankful for what this holiday signifies and that Jesus rose!

| Harper's supportive fan club at her school party! |
| I love this picture of our sweet girl. She made the beaded cross necklace she is wearing at the party. |
| Smearing the frosting on her cookies...she was thrilled that the frosting was pink! :) |
| Having a great time! |
| Owen was trying to give Harper kisses, which was met with much giggling. |

Church egg hunt on Saturday
Whereas last year Harper would sit down and open an egg right then and there without looking for more, this year she was on her game. She was a little frightened of the Easter Bunny walking around the carnival. She kept wanting to go over and give it a high five, and then she would get shy. But finally she did it! |

| Our little buddy at the egg hunt...the grass was soft as carpet! |
After church on Easter Sunday, we went to Brian and Jenevieve's house for lunch, hanging out, and another egg hunt with Harper, Addy and Holton.

| Two cute bunnies |
| Addy was giving Owen some sweet attention at lunch. And lunch was delicious, by the way! We had salad, sweet potato casserole, potato casserole, ham and fresh green beans. |
| Owen enjoying a good pat on the head. |
| A napkin provided much entertainment...peek-a-boo! |
| Kathy's birthday is at the beginning of April, so we also celebrated that with a fantastic cake that Jenevieve's mom made. |
| While the kids napped upstairs for a bit, the adults had fun hiding the eggs for the Easter egg hunt. Eggs were precariously balanced on all surfaces! |
| Each cousin got tons of eggs! |
| Egg hunting will wear you out. Look behind you, Harper! ;) |
| What a cute pair! |
| After the egg hunt, Brian put on a Laurie Berkner song that talks about shaking eggs. They had fun shaking their eggs and wanted to do it twice! |
| Sweet |
| We went out for a family walk to the nearby lake...everybody needed their shades! :) |
| Two grandpas and two granddaughters |
| Mimi brought confetti eggs and somehow T-Pa agreed to be the sole target of those eggs. I haven't laughed that hard in awhile! What a good sport! |
| Adelyn was not sure she wanted to smash an egg on her T-Pa's head. |
| Confetti explosion! |
