A quick recap of the fall season through pictures! Harper had just recently had her broken arm incident. So her arm was in a sling for most of our Halloween pictures, as she had not yet been fitted with a cast. I could barely get her cheerleading top on her with the sling, but we eventually managed! :)

| Harper painting at her fall party--she got pretty good with that left hand! |
| Brent at the party--I love that Brent works close enough that he can leave work for a little bit and attend her parties too. He was wearing this equestrian shirt because he was dressed for Halloween at school. It made me laugh to think some of the other parents probably thought Brent just really likes horses. You can see Owen in the background wanting to wander around the room and check out all that preschool had to offer. |

| Owen was a cuddly little fox! |
| Harper wanting to play despite her arm. I was nervous about this all evening long because she wasn't supposed to fall on it, or really be playing on a playground at all. It had only happened the day before, so she was still very sore in her arm at that point! Of course, it's hard to hold a kid back when everyone else is playing. |
| Owen still wasn't walking much at Halloween -- he really got going in November at 15 months -- but he was happy to pull up on the hay. |

| I actually followed through with one craft project this fall season. I painted the plate orange in a pottery painting store, then brought it home to do the kids' footprints at home. Then the plate sat in my house for a month (or maybe more) before I made it back to the pottery place to finish up the lettering and other details! But it is done, and we will enjoy bringing out this decoration every Halloween for years to come! |
| We had a fun cousins day in the fall that also included a sleepover. We took a meandering walk through the neighborhood, and there were many things to explore. |
| Sweet cousins |
| Eating a s'mores dessert |
| Time for sleepover and bedtime stories! They actually went to sleep without too much trouble, but then both were in our room in the middle of the night. So Harper ended up finishing the night somewhere else. Since then, though, they have had another sleepover that lasted through the night! |
Here are some family pictures we took in early November! Leigh Ann did a wonderful job capturing these smiles because Owen was having an unusually fussy time that day. Stressful! But you wouldn't be able to tell it from all the cute pictures she got.
I took a few pictures capturing this little guy really taking off with his walking:

| Precious smiles and precious boy! |
| We went to the Ft. Worth Museum of Science and History and checked out the Curious George exhibit with Aunt Beth and cousin Molly--fun! |

For Thanksgiving this year, we spent the beginning of the break and Thanksgiving day with my mom and then the day after Thanksgiving with Brent's side of the family.

| On a family walk to the park, we passed by these amazing yellow leaves that just called to be tossed in the air! |

| Mimi and T-Pa have made a playroom in their house which includes a large tee-pee. The kids love to play in it, and when we spend the night, Harper even gets to sleep in it! |
